HKIA News (ISSUE 127 – DECEMBER 2018)

The 2018 Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) Work Improvement Team (WIT) Convention was held at the AsiaWorld-Expo on 27 November that underscored its "Let New Ideas Take Flight" theme. The event recognised the concerted efforts of the WIT teams in striving for excellence through continuous improvement by identifying operational challenges in their workplace and implementing improvement solutions.

A case in point is a team of four Airfield Department colleagues who came up with an idea of streamlining the airbridge docking guidelines, which won them the inaugural Work Improvement Team (WIT) Grand Award.
